The program is designed specifically to meet the needs of the Jewish community. It draws inspiration from the principles of the Israeli Secret Service Shin-Bet (Shabak) and is overseen by a certified Shin-Bet chief security officer and special agent named Tomer Israeli.

The program is all about tackling two main ideas together: preventing and getting rid of threats, such as an active shooter, at Jewish community gatherings in places like our JCC, synagogues, and schools. We teach people in the community how to respond on their own and work together to handle and stop these threats. It's a challenging task that requires top-notch skills that can be developed and polished to meet the standards of the Shin Bet, all while keeping a strong emphasis on safety and effectiveness.

The program focuses on addressing two key aspects simultaneously: preventing and responding to potential threats, such as an active shooter, at Jewish community events held in locations like our JCC, synagogues, and schools. We provide community members with training on how to react effectively both individually and collaboratively to manage and neutralize these risks. This crucial responsibility demands well-honed skills that can be enhanced and refined to align with the safety and efficacy standards established by the Shin Bet.
Prerequisite
You don't need any experience to take this class; it's designed for beginners.

The course is hands-on training with focus on street exercises, test abilities and give the community the confidence to face potential aggressors, detect, deter and prevent terror attacks before the actual physical conducted in the surveillance stage.

The course designed to focus on the prevention of the attack. Meaning block the potential attacker by detect, deter and prevent the attack before it happened in the surveillance stage.
During the course we teach how to approach potential threat, questioning him, block his movement closer to the objective, deter him, record his movements and alert in real time the other security members include police, elimination of the threat team.
The course is based on the Shin - Bet counter terror doctrine with special adaption to the Jewish community needs.
