COURSE TOPICS
CQB Room Clearing & Vehicle CQB:
-
For those new to advanced Combat CQB and Urban tactics, training is available for individuals, squads, and teams tailored for VIP protection missions, essential for roles in overseas contracting like PSD/EP.
-
When shooting from a moving vehicle, ensure that two agents are engaged in live fire drills.
-
When dealing with a gun fight in a crowded area, it's important to focus on minimizing collateral damage. This involves coordination between two agents, as well as strategic room clearing while ensuring the safe evacuation of any VIPs to a secure location.
-
Clearing a room using dynamic entry techniques requires coordination as a squad or team, especially in varying lighting conditions such as daylight, low light, and night vision.
*In this part of the training, participants practice using a rifle or pistol and learn how to transition to hand-to-hand combat if their gun malfunctions. All these exercises involve live fire.
Krav Maga is a key aspect of the executive protection mission approach
So, the training involves hand-to-hand combat based on Israeli Krav Maga, which means no rules and full contact. It's a daily routine during the course covering basic fundamentals like knife disarm and gun retention, all while protecting a third party (VIP). They also cover arrest and control techniques from start to finish, including neutralization and using handcuffs with a Jiujitsu approach. Teamwork is emphasized, with one person handling handcuffs and another with firearms to provide protection from tactical positions. The training also includes techniques for lethal and knockout neutralization.
Tactics for protecting VIPs and conducting field exercises to test concepts
When it comes to high-profile protection and deterrents, we cover a range of strategies. From covert protection concepts to foot and vehicle formations, our goal is to develop and implement effective protective details. We also focus on counter-surveillance, surveillance tracking, and prevention techniques. By analyzing pre-attack indicators and behaviors, we aim to stay ahead of potential threats. Additionally, our services include urban estate sweeps for explosives and thorough vehicle checks for hidden compartments, whether it's a car, truck, or bus. Our security measures extend to body searches, including cargo inspections.
Planning a mission while taking into account the perspective of the attacker and strategies to prevent attacks is crucial
When analyzing the schedule for a mission, it's important to prioritize tasks such as assessing risks associated with scheduled events, evaluating available resources, and developing contingency plans. Advanced concepts cover aspects like information gathering, acquiring necessary resources, determining how these factors impact the final security plan, and negotiating details to enhance the overall level of protection. In route selection, anchoring points are selected based on geographical considerations, utilizing GPS and drones to gain real-time advantages. Establishing protective perimeters and layers of security is crucial. Developing a counter-surveillance plan and organizing logistics according to the schedule are essential components of mission planning.
A motorcade or convoy may involve covert operations using undercover vehicles.
-
Handling emergencies while driving - like J-turns and car control techniques.
-
Practicing switching drivers in a moving car for situations involving injuries.
-
Training scenarios involving simulated combat and live ammunition, with a focus on live-fire drills.
Final exercises bring everything together.
We tackle the final challenge as a team, involving role players in a lively city setting. Participants will work in various locations such as hotels, restaurants, and events. Attackers will focus on gathering information, carrying out manipulations and attacks, while the defenders will practice counter-surveillance and prevention tactics.
