THE IMPORTANCE OF ASSASSINATION PREVENTION
Why prevention of an assassination is the most important security effort in executive protection mission
Since almost by definition the attacker will have the surprise on his side. Only applying prevention tactics can disturb his efforts to collect enough data for an attack.

The stages of successful prevention are:
-
Collect the required data to build a protection plan (site survey, risk assessment report.
-
Apply layer of security as part of the plan
-
Apply prevention tactics like breaking routines, counter surveillance and avoid tracking and detect tracking

WHAT WOULD BE AN EFFECTIVE SECURITY PARAMETER FOR EXECUTIVE PROTECTION MISSION
ASSUMPTION
The attacker is looking for weakness in the security set-up in-order to use it as opportunity for an attack. In this video we give several examples to learn how to build an effective security parameter.

The stages of successful protection parameter are:
-
Make sure that the parameter is sterile meaning only security and minimum authorized people are allowed in the parameter.
-
Make sure that all the people that are part of the event are screened for any type of weapon especially guns, knife, explosives (include items that looks naive but basically contain the weapon inside )
-
Make sure no weapon being smuggled in the event before the event took place
-
Even after all of that make sure no body can get close to the VIP to use poison or knife from close distance by setting up barrier and bodyguard in close proximity to block the attack

WHY WE NEED A SAFE ROOM FOR EXECUTIVE PROTECTION MISSION
ASSUMPTION
The attacker failed to kill the VIP but it could be more threat coming as a 2nd wave of attack or the VIP is injured and it's better not to move him. Safe room is probably one of the most effective solution for it

What makes a successful protection safe room:
-
Very close in proximity so we don't need to carry the VIP places and we can secure the VIP fast.
-
Preferred bullet and explosive proof.
-
Have only one entrance in / out to be easier to protect from tactical position
-
Preferred to be away from visual line of sight outside from the parameter

HOW TO KEEP THE RIGHT DISTANCE IN EXECUTIVE PROTECTION MISSION
ASSUMPTION
Once we created a parameter that extended to long / short distance. How do I keep the right distance.

What makes a successful protection distance:
-
Nobody can touch my VIP is a good idea - make sure you extend the parameter beyond the fence and make sure all the people that have a chance to touch the VIP are checked before end and also we know their intentions - meaning stage it - let people that you know to be in the crowed
-
Remember ! you can't stop the attack with your reaction time - you will be always too late to respond. Therefore prevention meaning plan to have the parameters sterile with only people you know.
