We work to provide our students with not just the tools to find any job, but to find gainful employment. 99% of our faculty and staff are veterans, and our completion rate and employment rate in 2022 were 100 percent. The reason is simple: our employers know that graduated students from our school are well qualified for the job like no other school.

No training provider can guarantee employment - there are simply too many variables to do so. However, we will provide you with all of the key necessary skills to find a job in the industry.

Are they GI Bill approved?

Plus.png

As we teach courses in many different states, there are no direct funding methods available. However, veterans can utilize GI Bill or other Veterans Administration funding for almost any course, including ours.

You can seek reimbursement for professional training and related expenses through your state's approving agency, or contact a vocational rehabilitation counselor from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to discuss sponsorship for pursuing your career goals by attending one of our courses. For more information, visit the link below (“Pursue Your Best Opportunity’ tab): https://www.benefits.va.gov/vocrehab/

We have also made every effort to make our courses short and affordable enough to fund on your own. Unlike so many other courses that put emphasis on classroom time and PowerPoints (which is cheap, but ineffective), our courses are exactly the opposite - they function more like a boot camp, focusing on hands-on exercises such as room clearing, vehicle live fire, tactical training, 360 shoot house live fire, and counter surveillance street exercises in a realistic environment.

We will provide you with prevention and combat skills training that is as close as possible to the real deal, just as the Israeli Secret Service does. Hands-on skills practice, as well as soft arts training including risk assessment, schedule analysis and mission planning, is the basis for every close protection mission. These skills signify real value for your future employer. We invite you to consider the return on your investment, and recognize that continuous training is much more beneficial than a ‘one and done’ method.

The majority of our courses are spent practicing hands-on exercises, either in live fire shoot houses or on a flat range with vehicles, so you should dress accordingly. There is no need to buy highly expensive tactical gear, but comfortable tactical clothing, comfortable shoes and sunscreen is key. Be prepared for all weather conditions, as we will continue to train regardless of this.

Water, energy bars, and snacks will be provided throughout the training. We highly recommend bringing your own weapons (pistol/rifle), as well as a concealed carry button down shirt, etc. We only provide 9mm and .223 ammunition - if your weapon requires different ammo, you will need to bring it with you.

Training days typically run from 6am until sunset, unless we are doing a low light night shooting exercise (room clearing CQB with a mounted flashlight) in which case we will finish around 22:00 and provide dinner at the range.

You should arrive at the hotel the evening before the first training day, and let us know when you have arrived.

Yes, we offer two different ways of training – you can either register online for one of our scheduled courses that take place across the country, or you can contact us with proposed dates and location for a group of 6 or more students, and we can facilitate a custom or private course at no extra cost.

An electronic certificate of completion will be awarded to every course graduate, which may be used alongside your resume and possibly for insurance purposes. Our diplomas are recognized by the states of Florida (G & D license), Texas (Levels 1-4), and Georgia (Blue Card), meaning you may use your course completion certificate to apply for formal certification processes in these states and begin working as an Executive Protection agent right away.

Our Executive Protection program is considered to be one of the most advanced and high quality in the world. The course is rooted in Israeli Secret Service (Shin-Bet/Shabak) practices and their individual combatant principles, to successfully and aggressively fight terror.

Our continuous focus on excellence means we offer all course graduates a discounted rate of 50% off any future course, for as many as they wish to attend. Currently, the Israeli Tactical School is the only training academy in the world with such a program, providing affordable training on a regular basis. This way, students can maintain their skills, stay in-shape, and meet other students and graduates (some already working as bodyguards in the industry) for a fraction of the fee.

Our school motto is “you are only as good as the last training you took part in”. We are proud of our "always a student” benefit, and believe that personal protection is a way of life!

An Executive Protection Specialist, Special Agent or any other commonly used name is someone who provides security for corporate executives, VIPs, celebrities, and other people who need safeguarding against public threats. These individuals may be exposed to personal risk because of their employment, celebrity status, wealth, associations or geographical location.

Plus.png
Minus.png

Executive protection (EP), also known as close protection, dignitary protection and bodyguarding, refers to security measures taken to ensure the safety of VIPs. celebrities, executives or other at-risk individuals.

The main objective of our Executive Protection program is to avoid conflict altogether, following the teachings of the great philosopher, Sun Tzu: "Don't go to battle if you are about to lose " (Art of War). This means the primary objective of planning any mission is to ensure that there is not even any potential for the VIP to be at risk.

In order to plan a mission, we have to assume that the enemy is currently collecting info about us, watching our every move, with access to inside information, listening to our radio and telephone, with access to our Internet, emails, social media, surveillance devices, etc. Therefore, the only way to avoid conflict (prevention) is to create a plan that breaks all routine, making our movements unpredictable, to become an impossible target, so the enemy cannot plan an attack.

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we may still be predictable to an extent, meaning the enemy can plan an attack. In this case, and as the very last line of defense, a bodyguard must be lethal and highly effective in combat to be able to win any fight.

Plus.png
Minus.png

The most important role of a Protective Agent is to believe that an attack will happen, that the enemy is already collecting the necessary data for an attack, and to be prepared. Therefore, an Agent must try to detect and deter suspicious and criminal activities within the premises or when moving from one location to another, act promptly during emergencies, and report unlawful incidents, accidents and medical emergencies immediately to management. They must ensure doors, windows and gates are always secured properly and, as a last line of defense, eliminate any threats if prevention tactics to avoid conflict are unsuccessful.

You must:

  • Be over 18 years of age.

  • Have a Security Industry Authority license.

  • Have a full driving license.

Level 4 security officers are guards who are allowed to work as top-level Personal Protection Officers in Texas (e.g. at events as VIP bodyguards and backstage security). Our courses are recognized as Level 4 by the state of Texas.

During a typical day of work as a bodyguard, you may need to run, jump, kneel, or carry out other physical activity, for the purpose of safety. Despite popular belief, this does not mean you are required to be overly large or tall.
